It was a pleasure hosting one of the finest, Jim Doyle, for a workshop here in late March. The material was excellent - mostly collected Engelmann Spruce, with a Ponderosa Pine and Shimpaku Juniper thrown in for good measure. The tree featured above is a tall Engelmann by Stephanie Fryers. Jim was able to really capture the essence of the Literati in his morning lecture, followed by tree critiques and the workshop portion to round out the day. Here is a
