The NBS held its fourth annual Fall Exhibit in conjunction with Lauritzen Gardens' Japanese Ambience Festival. We had an excellent variety of specimens on display, including a full shohin display, yamadori from the region and overseas, and several tropicals. New to this year's exhibit, we featured a Workshop section that included trees from the participants of our Japanese Black Pine, Trident Maple and Shimpaku Juniper beginner workshops. It was great having so many members on hand to participate and enjoy the exhibit. Stephanie Walker of Nebraska Bonsai Pottery had a nice selection of handmade pottery on sale, in addition to a few Kusamono plantings. Many of the accents included in the display featured pottery by Stephanie. Special thanks goes to those who participated and spent time at our booth over the weekend. Check out the photos from the event.
